Mike invests in Vermont’s communities to create a better future for generations to come. As Treasurer, he has worked to make Vermont more affordable and more livable for working people by expanding housing opportunity, investing in climate resilience, and building an economy where every Vermonter can thrive.

Mike has directed the Treasurer’s local investment authority toward projects that strengthen Vermont communities, including a $4 million commitment to Phase 1 of The Village at Winston Prouty in Brattleboro, building workforce housing alongside the campus’s early childhood and family services.

After the 2023 floods, his office awarded $15 million to the Vermont Bond Bank to create the Municipal Climate Recovery Fund to help downtowns recover.
